1000 miles ahead

8 goal striker Mehdi Kerrouche has signed for Oxford on a one month loan.  In an interview with the PigHill advertiser, the suspended S*****n supremo said,

“Mehdi is a good player, he has good technical quality but I don’t see how much difference he can make for them in one month,  I don’t mind if they become strong because I believe we are a much better side than them, we are 1,000 miles ahead of them.  Even when we were struggling at the start of the season, the game against them should have finished 8-2 to us, but it was 2-1 to them.  At this moment in time we are better than them.  They are a side that can maybe compete to go up through the play-offs, but I am not worried that Mehdi goes there because we are a much better side.”

It seems the team talk for the fixture is already written, and perhaps the Tottenham supporting number 9, James Constable, having spurned PDC's offers, will stick another brace up on the scoreboard for the Us.
